Salties is located approximately 40 minutes drive north of Durban.

Travel north along the N2 freeway out of Durban. Take the Salt Rock/ Umhlali North turn off and then turn right across the bridge. This road takes you into the small town of Salt Rock.

On entering Salt Rock you pass the petrol station, the supermarket, the entrance to the Salt Rock Hotel on your left. You pass the entrance to the Salt Rock Country Club on your right. You then pass the back of the caravan park on your left. 

Take the very first turning to the LEFT into Hotel Road and as it curves up to the left, the entrance to Salties is on your right - prominently sign posted.
